Four Main Weave Types
Plain Weave
Plain weave is the most common weaving method, with identical wire diameters and equal wire density in both warp and weft directions. It provides excellent dimensional stability, uniform openings, and high filtration accuracy.
Mainly used for wire mesh below 400 mesh.
Twill Weave
Twill weave allows thicker wires and higher mesh counts while maintaining excellent strength and flexibility. The diagonal weave pattern improves wear resistance and increases load capacity.
Mainly used for wire mesh above 400 mesh.
Plain Dutch Weave
Dutch weave utilizes finer weft wires and heavier warp wires to create extremely small openings for ultra-fine filtration. It is widely used where high filtration accuracy is essential.
Mainly applied to fluid filter mesh above 400 mesh.
Twilled Dutch Weave
Dutch Twill Weave combines the advantages of twill weave and Dutch weave, providing exceptional mechanical strength with extremely fine filtration capability.
