Twin Wire Mesh Fencing, widely known as 2D double wire fence, 656 wire fence or 868 wire fence, is a premium welded wire security fence constructed with double horizontal twin wires firmly welded onto single vertical steel wires. The naming rule “868” and “656” stands for wire diameter configuration:
· 868 2D Fence: Horizontal wires 2×8mm, vertical wire φ6.0mm (8mm horizontal + 6mm vertical + 8mm horizontal)
· 656 2D Fence: Horizontal wires 2×6mm, vertical wire φ5.0mm (6mm horizontal + 5mm vertical + 6mm horizontal)
Made of high tensile carbon steel, the unique double horizontal twin wire ridge structure delivers outstanding rigidity and impact resistance compared to ordinary single wire mesh fence. Vertical wires are ultra strong so panels cannot be folded or bent easily. Equipped with galvanized, polyester powder or PVC coated surface finish, our 2D twin wire fence boasts excellent anti-rust & anti-corrosion performance for long-term outdoor service, extremely popular across European markets.
